How to Change From Upper Case to Lower Case Text and Vise Versa in Microsoft Word

Select the text you want to change.

1.On the Format menu, click Change Case.

2.Click the capitalization option you want.

1.Okay, so let's say you have a paragraph of text and it is in CAPS but needs to be standard format. Highlight the text want you changed.

2.Press Shift + F3. Suddenly it's not capitalized any more. Everything is lower case now.

3.This is good, but it isn't great, because you still want the first letter of all the sentences to be capitalized. What should you do? You should highlight the text again, and press Shift + F3. All the letters at the start of your sentences are capitalized.

4.What if you want all of the words capitalized? Highlight the text again and press Shift + F3 and suddenly it is all capitalized. How helpful!
