LAWCET & PGLCET-2014 - Common Entrance Test

It will be conducted by the Convener, Department of Law, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission into 3Year / 5Year LL.B Regular Courses in the Colleges of Law in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2014-15.


Required Qualification for Lawcet - 2014

For 3 Year LLB: Any Graduate Degree (10 + 2 + 3) with 45% of marks.

For 5 Year LLB: Intermediate with 45% of marks.

Required Qualification for PGLCET - 2014

Holding LLB Degree and candidates appearing for final year exam.

The Candidates seeking admission into LL.M. (Private Appearance) of Osmania University, Hyderabad shall have a minimum experience of 3-years as a judicial officer or 3-years
standing as an advocate on the date of appearing for PGLCET-2014.

Application Forms will be accepted through Online only and candidates are requested to fill the particulars carefully in online application.

You have to keep the qualifying examination certificates handy while filling online application as you have to provide the Hall ticket number and qualifying date of the exams.

Candidates have to upload photograph and signature while filling online application.

Payment can be made through AP Online, Credit Card and Debit Card.

Lawcet 3/5 Years - Rs. 250/-

PGLCET - Rs. 500/-

Submission and Registration of Online Applications Start From 12-03-2014.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application without late fee : 26-04-2014

Last Date for Submission of Online Application with late fee of Rs.200/- : 27-04-2014 To 05-05-

With late fee of Rs.1000/- Candidates have to write the entrance Test in Tirupati only: 13-05-2014 To 31-05-2014

Time of Exam: 10 AM To 11.30 AM

Date of PGLCET Exam: 08-06-2014

Time of Exam: 2.30 PM To 4 PM

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION FOR LAWCET & PGLCET-2014


FOR LAWCET:

The Test consists of three parts. Total number of questions will be 120 and the duration of test is 90 minutes. Maximum marks are 120.
3 & 5 year LL.B Course:
Part – A: General Knowledge - Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks
and Mental Ability

Part – B: Current Affairs - Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks

Part – C: Aptitude for the - Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks.

FOR PGLCET:

A Single entrance test is conducted for all the courses of LL.M. It is of 90 minutes duration and consists of 120 questions of 1 mark each.
Part-A: It consists of 40 questions (Jurisprudence 20, Constitutional Law 20; Total 40 questions of 1 mark each).

Part-B: It consists of 80 questions (public International Law 16, Mercantile Law 16, Labour Law 16, Crimes and Torts 16, and IPR & Other Laws 16). Syllabus and model paper is given in Annexure-I in Instruction Booklet.

The candidates have to mark their responses on Optical Mark Reader (OMR) answer sheet by darkening the relevant ovals with Ball Point Pen.
